All Star National Championship Tournament and Banquet
The last tournament of the season took place in Cinicinatti. While Connor couldn't compete at the tournament because of a broken ankle, he was able to attend the banquet with his team members and other dojos!

Connor and Devin at the banquet...somehow Devin doesn't look excited to be here!
Devin and Jillian at the banquet. I don't think karate would be the same for either of these guys without the other.
Congratulations Connor!! Connor was a single crown winner for the 10-11 year old division in sparring! He won the silver Pro-Am Championship ring.
This picture of Connor and Dakota was taken at the kid's "After Party".
Team Kenpo!
You can tell that your children don't get out much when they try and eat the hamburger at the Big Boy!!
Cincinnati was a fun trip for all of us!
Devin looses his first tooth!
I can't believe my baby is growing up... here we are working the first of two loose teeth.
Of course it's a family affair with Gigi offering water and Grandad ready to pull!

Here's Devin after we pulled his first tooth!
Next Door Kittens
The neighbors next door have two cats. Each of these cats had a litter of kittens... 11 kittens total!! This is Diamond sharing her babies with us.

Light the Night 2009
October 1, 2009 was the annual Light the Night Walk. Below are pictures taken of our walk this year. Thanks to my friend, Gary Haynes, for taking such great pictures!
Team Skyline
Devin and me.
Walkers carry lighted balloons in one of three colors during the walk. Red is for those who support or fundraise. White is for survivors of blood cancers. Gold is carried in remembrance of those who have lost their fight. Devin and I each carried a red and white balloon in honor of Grandad.
It's a powerful sight to see so many people gathered to support a common goal. If you would like to make a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, please feel free to contact me, or log on to www.lightthenight.org.
