Our Trip to the Huntsville Space Center

Is this really where they sleep???

Yep...you can even rock climb at the Space Center... Go Devin!

Just one of the MANY rockets outside the facility

And of course, the Space Center wouldn't be complete without something from Star Wars.

This is one of the shuttle engines

This is Devin on his version of the Space Shot... as far as I could tell, the thing just shook the crap out of the kids...but they liked it!!

This was the Saturn V rocket

This is also a Saturn V rocket that went to the moon

Connor under the rocket boosters from the Saturn V

Connor and Devin's Belt Test

It's belt test day!!! This time Connor will test for his Green Belt and Devin will test for his Yellow Belt!

They look bright eyed and bushy tailed here, but in just a couple hours, they're going to be ready to DROP!!

Here's just a small sample of the actual belt test. Here are all the kids running the form for their appropriate belt. You can see Devin in the foreground and Connor is in the top left corner. On top of this, the kids go over kicks, punches, blocks and self-defense moves. It's a tough test. The higher your rank, the more you must know and the longer the test.

"Mom, is it over yet? I'm tired of standing in Meditation stance...."
Sorry, Dev... Connnor's still testing....
Now it's over.... Congratulations, Devin!
Congratulations, Connor!!
Everyone who tested, or helped with the test Dakota, Connor and Devin
Dakota and Connor have tested together at every belt test. And every belt test, we get this same picture... it's tradition!
I wouldn't trade the experiences that we have had with USA Kenpo for anything. Scott and Tammy have taught the boys lessons that will last a lifetime!

Family Night at Logan's

Tom, the boys and I were meeting everyone at Logan's for dinner. These are the lizards that GiGi brought back from Florida.

Take that, cousins!! I did it!!!!

The Three Amigos.... don't they look ready for action???

This is one of those rare, once in a life-time photos....Briley holding Grandad's hand.

Where's Briley??
There she is!!! Auntie Mel, you're so silly!

Shhh... Connor, don't tell my Daddy...

Devin Graduates K-4!!!!

Devin can never be accused of trying to be the center of attention. He gets quite crabby when he gets nervous. The night of his K-4 Graduation was no exception as he refused to smile for what they've started to refer to as a "Mom Moment". Even if Devin wasn't excited about this program, we were!! Here's Devin's posse, waiting for the show to begin. Just for the record, we were in the front row at Devin's request.

Watch for Devin... he's one of the last ones because he has to hold the "D" in the program.
There's my baby!!

This was the finale... the song was so cute, but too long to post the video. You'll also have to trust me when I say that the kids arms were tired by the time they got everyone to hold up their letters at the same time!
It's finally over.... and there's a smile!
Well Briley, you're next!

Out of the mouths of babes!

There's those presents!

Of course Briley loved Wolverine, too! Devin had a problem with her calling him "baby".
Group Hug!

We're proud of you Devin!!!
