July 4th Celebration!

We're very fortunate to live in White House and be able to see the City's fireworks display from our back deck each year. This year, the fireworks were on the 2nd. So... for a whopping July 4th finale, we took a helicopter ride!

This is Connor boarding with GiGi and Grandad. The boys finished off the day with Sweet CeCe's, and spending the night with GiGi and Grandad.

A Blast from the Past....

So... Devin was invited to someone's skating party, and we realized that he had never been roller skating, and that Connor had only been a couple times. Instead of attending the party, we took the boys to Sumner County Skate Zone to "teach" them how to skate. I quickly realized that I'm not 12 anymore. We had a blast while getting great exercise and spending some fabulous time together. This will be an activity we'll revisit often.

Even though there are no pictures of me, I did skate, and I still have the bruises to prove it!

Briley's Birthday!

My niece, Briley, is growing up!! This year, we celebrated her third birthday!Happy Birthday, Briley! Thank you for inviting us to your party, and Auntie Mel's glad you loved your Tangled doll!

Devin's Baseball Season

Devin decided this year he wanted to play baseball. We all had a BLAST! Connor was the honorary score keeper (when the scoreboard worked) and Tom was the dugout dad. The kids and the coaches were awesome!!

Deep in thought...

Each game ended with a prayer with the oposing team on the pitcher's mound.

The team ended the season by attending a Sounds game. Each kid was introduced and took their spot on the field with the Sounds!
