Reflections...

One thing I absolutely love is looking back at old pictures... since we weren't blogging then, here are some pictures of the boys.

Connor and Devin- ages 5 and 9 months. This was when having a little brother was cool...my how time flies!
I think the boys were 2 and 7 here.
This was right after we moved... I'm pretty sure Devin was barely 1 here. That would make connor six.

Here was Connor after he won the Robertson County Science Fair for 3rd grade in 2008.

If our family is one thing, it's that we are very supportive of one another. It's almost embarrasing how we tend to show up like a band of gypsies! Here is another picture from Connor's Wheels in Motion award, showing the whole family. Oh, the men in suits aren't family, they are the President of the Robertson County Rotary and a representative of the Chamber. We appreciated them joining our picture.

We were so very lucky that Briley and Angela (my boys call her Ju) showed up at the awards, too. All the kids thought Briley was Connor's sister.

I came upstairs tonight expecting to find the 'boys' all over the Bonus Room. How cute to find all of them snuggled up watching "Man vs. Wild". Devin says, "Moma, this show is named Man vs. Wild because Bear is a man and he's in the wild...he even eats bear poop!" (Devin has already told me that when he grows up, he's going to work at McDonald's, so I don't have to worry about him going into the 'nature show' business...)

"AAGH!!! Don't take our picture!!"

One of Devin's favorite things is to sleep in someone else's bed. Funny how they fight like crazy when awake, but are so close when they are asleep. Here are my 'Sleeping Beauties'!

So sometimes we just like to goof off... Devin and I were home one Friday night. He called me into the den by saying, "Moma? Next time your mad, you should just say..." I couldn't resist taping this precious moment!

Our Weekend...

Our weekend was fairly quiet. Connor's friend, Kaylub, went to church with us and spent the night. Of course, we always love to see Briley!! Her mom and dad went somewhere else to eat dinner, so we got her all to ourselves. The jury's still out on which one of use acts the most foolish over her...notice my picture isn't shown.

"Grandad, you're so silly. Hey, do you know how to play the spoons?"

" What can I say? Boys love me..."

Just chillin' with my cousin, Con! He's actually teaching me how to play the spoons.

"Hey Moma, why don't you feed me the good stuff like Auntie Mel?"

(While this picture is so cute, I didn't actually let Briley eat the cookie... That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!)

Devin wants to share, too...

I mentioned in an earlier post that Devin has become quite the camera addict. If you bring out a camera, he doesn't want in the picture, he wants to take the picture. So, he got his own camera for Christmas. It's always interesting when I review his images. He has pictures of his room, his batcave and of course all of their webkins. He's actually quiet good, and this is a hobby I don't mind encouraging. Now, if I could just keep him from taking pictures of us in our pajamas, we'd be set. Please enjoy Devin's picutres below.

Connor must have gotten the camera...Devin said he was just "being cool" in this picutre... I suppose it could be worse, right?
I'm beginning to see a pattern...
